Competitors Overview

Track how AI models mention your competitors across prompts, compare visibility and share of voice, and uncover gaps you can close with targeted sources and domains.

Understand competitor tracking

Competitor tracking shows how AI engines talk about competing brands when answering your tracked prompts, not what those brands publish on their own sites. Instead of reading competitor blogs or landing pages, you see where and how models actually surface them when users ask questions that matter to you.

When you add a competitor, the platform starts tracking their presence across all your tracked prompts. You then read competitor performance through visibility scores, mentions, position, and share of voice across different models and timeframes.

What you can do with competitors

Discover and add relevant competitors

Use the Competitor Discovery page to find brands you should monitor.

  • See suggestions from brands that appear frequently across your prompts.

  • Discover semantically similar brands that models treat as alternatives to you.

  • Add competitors from suggestions or by manual search to start tracking them.

Once added, each competitor is monitored across your prompt set, so rankings and visibility metrics update automatically over time.

Rank competitors and measure share of voice

The Brand Rankings page shows how you and your competitors perform at the industry level, with filters for model and timeframe.

Use it to:

  • Compare visibility scores to see how often models surface each brand.

  • Track share of voice (SOV) to understand which competitors dominate attention across your prompts.

  • Inspect position and mentions to understand where competitors appear in generated answers and how prominent they are.

Filtering by model and timeframe lets you separate short-term spikes from durable shifts in competitive presence.
