Track competitors
Monitor competitor visibility and share of voice across models.
Understand competitor metrics
Competitor tracking surfaces how often and how strongly models mention your brand versus others across your prompts.
Use two core metrics to understand where you stand:
-
Visibility score
-
Share of voice (SOV)
Check the dedicated metric pages for deeper definitions and formulas, for example Visibility and Share of Voice.
Read breakdowns by model and prompts
Visibility and SOV become most actionable when you break them down by model and by prompt-level performance.
Breakdowns by model
Model filters on competitor views show how each model behaves:
-
If a competitor dominates on one model but not others, you have a model-specific opportunity to improve training data exposure or coverage.
-
If your brand only looks strong on one model while competitors are consistent across models, your overall category presence is fragile.
Use the model dropdown to:
-
Compare your visibility and SOV against a specific competitor for one model at a time.
-
Spot models where your visibility is low even when SOV looks acceptable, which often means you appear but not consistently in leading positions.
Breakdowns by prompts
Prompt-level breakdowns show where competitors win or lose:
-
Prompts mentioned and total prompts show how wide a competitor’s coverage is.
-
Lists of prompts where a competitor appears but you do not reveal explicit coverage gaps.
-
Prompts where competitors appear inconsistently (or in low positions) are uncontested or weakly contested prompts you can target for quick wins.
Use these prompt lists to separate:
-
Defensive plays: high-value prompts where a competitor is strong and you are absent.
-
Offensive plays: prompts where everyone is weak or inconsistent, giving you room to become the default.
