How to add different domain
Domains represent the websites you track in AIclicks, and you can add multiple domains under the same team.
Each team is your workspace. It controls billing, members, and all the domains, prompts, data, competitors, and visibility metrics inside it. A domain is a website you track within that team.
Open your team workspace
-
Sign in to AIclicks.
-
In the sidebar, open the team where you want to add the new website. For most solo users this is your default team; for agencies this is usually your main agency team.
Go to domain settings
-
In the selected team, go to Brand Settings.
-
Review the list of existing domains that are already being tracked.
Add an additional domain
-
Select Add domain.
-
Enter the new website URL you want to track.
-
Confirm to start tracking the new domain under the same team.
Agencies typically use one team with multiple domains, where each client website becomes its own domain under the same team, so billing stays consolidated while each client's data is separated by domain.
Only create a separate team when you need separate billing or fully isolated access, such as for a large client that needs its own invoice and workspace.
How to add different team
Create a separate team when you need separate billing or a fully isolated workspace for a client or business unit.
Use a separate team for any client or business unit that requires its own invoice or strict separation of members and data. Each team has its own billing and member list.
Open the team switcher
-
Sign in to AIclicks.
-
In the app header or sidebar, open the team switcher where your current team name appears.
Create a new team
-
In the team switcher, select Create new team.
-
Enter the team name, for example the client name or business unit that needs its own workspace.
Configure billing and members
-
In the new team, go to Billing to set up its own subscription and invoices.
-
Go to Team members to invite only the stakeholders and account team who should access this workspace.
Use this structure when legal, contractual, or internal policies require that client work, billing, and access are fully isolated from your main team.
Agencies have two main options for structuring AIclicks workspaces.
Option A (recommended): One team for the agency, one domain per client.
-
Keep a single team for your agency.
-
Add each client website as a separate domain under that team.
-
Use restricted roles to control which members can see or work on specific domains.
-
Billing stays consolidated on one invoice.
Option B: One team per client.
-
Create a separate team for any client that requires its own invoice or a fully isolated workspace.
-
Invite only that client's stakeholders and account team to the client-specific team.
-
Use this when legal or contractual requirements prevent sharing a workspace across clients.
Start with Option A unless you explicitly need separate billing or strict workspace isolation for a client.
To stop tracking one website and start tracking a new one while keeping the same team, billing, and members:
-
Open the team that currently has the old domain.
-
Go to Brand Settings.
-
Use Pause domain analysis on the old domain. AIclicks will stop tracking it and return unused credits.
-
In the same team, add a new domain with the new website URL.
AIclicks starts analysis fresh for the new domain while your team, billing setup, and member access remain unchanged.
